Who's Telling Your Life Story?: Narrating Your Memoir

Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich, author of the acclaimed memoir The Fact of a Body, will be leading a one-day workshop on finding your memoir’s narrator and putting them to work. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to revise your work under the direction of a published author. You’ll also work on your narrative voice, learn tips and tricks for sustaining vivid narration, and explore the balance between narration and scene through reading short craft essays. Come study with Alexandria to find your voice, meet your inner narrator, and put them to work in this day-long workshop.
