New works by Adrienne Rozzi of Poison Apple Printshop "Venecopeia explores the use of poisonous plants within the realm of witchcraft. Through the medium of printmaking, Rozzi composes elements of herbalism and witchcraft to investigate flying ointments and the historic origins of the modern witch. Magical practitioners throughout history were intrigued by plants that were medicinally helpful in small doses, but deadly poisonous in large doses."
