The Roaming Social Club

The Roaming Social Club is a mobile, members-only social club that visits a different venue each month in 2018. First up: Jan, 20th at the Kollar CLUB in the South Side. The Kollar Club (aka The John Kollar Slovak Literary and Library Society of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is where, over a century ago, Slovak immigrants came to learn English so they could get jobs in Pittsburgh’s once-thriving mines, mills, and glass factories. We will learn a little about the club's history, and share a drink with their members. Featuring musical performance by Andrea Pearl and Ed Tarza.
