The Dreamplace Project

When: Sun., Nov. 15, 10 a.m. 2015

A public art project by artist & Northside neighbor, Denise Mahone, that has been commissioned by City of Asylum Pittsburgh. The project acknowledges & encourages curiosity about the collective dream life of the Central Northside community by facilitating attention to dreams. Participating neighbors can anonymously contribute a narrative & word/phrase from their dreams. The public artwork, to be installed in the Alphabet Reading Garden in the Fall of 2015, will include an evolving psychic map of the place using neighbors’ dream words that tells an otherwise invisible story of the place.
