TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE

One thing that can be said about South Park's Matt Stone and Trey Parker's latest politically in-contempt production -- it's probably the most balanced report of any movie released commenting on America's foreign policy attitude. So, in this finest assembly of celebrity caricatures and puppets since Genesis' "Land of Confusion" video, everyone from North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il to pacifist actor Alec Baldwin gets their guts shredded. The Eiffel Tower and The Louvre get pulverized, as does Mt. Rushmore -- all at the trigger-happy hands of Team America, a G.I. Joe-like commando unit who favor the cast of Friends more than Top Gun. Taking their cues from a super-computer named I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E., they scour the world for terrorists and WMDs while pursuing each other as love and sex interests -- the best sex scene, I may add, since Colors, and best vomit scene since Scary Movie 2. And yes, I'm talking about puppets.
