Stocktoberfest | Irma Freeman Center for Imagination | Theater | Pittsburgh City Paper

When: Sat., Oct. 7, 8-10 p.m. 2017

Whether you're a fan of weird music or just love beer, come celebrate the celestial stylings of Karlheinz Stockhausen. Stockhausen—a composer that's almost too weird even for E.L.C.O. claims that his music is channeled directly to him by superior being who reside within the deepest reaches of outer space. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the hits of Sirius. Better yet, bring an instrument and make some noise at the jam session/sight-reading party. The festivities continue with a MST3K style-viewing of a portion of “Donnerstag Aus Licht.” FREE Admission for a causal party atmosphere welcoming aural adventurers of all ilks.
