When: Sat., March 24, 3-4 p.m. 2018

As part of Carnegie Mellon University’s International Film Festival, “Spoor” is based on Olga Tokarczuk's best selling novel, “Drive Your Plough Over the Bones of the Dead.” “Spoor” follows Duszejko, an eccentric and aging animal rights activist living on the Czech-Polish border. After multiple killings are discovered in her town, Duszejko noticies that each murder has something in common: all the victims are local hunters and each crime scene shows evidence of recent animal activity. While the police prove ineffective, Holland's dark film works as a patchwork of genres that has us constantly asking questions about morals and reality. “Spoor”
