Salome

Based on Oscar Wilde’s play, Salome recreates the biblical story of King Herod, his daughter Salome and John the Baptist (Jochanaan), featuring the seductive “Dance of the Seven Veils,” which is being choreographed specifically for this production for artist Patricia Racette by Pittsburgh’s Attack Theatre. Racette, a major opera star, will peel off seven layers one at a time, appearing on stage naked by the end of the dance.
