“Nightmares, Dreams and Moral Imagination” is the title of Rev. Cornell Brooks’ talk tonight at Temple Sinai. While that may sound trippy and a little vague, the message behind the talk is simple: to challenge “people of faith to commit to creating a more tolerant and just society.” Brooks, an accomplished civil-rights lawyer, ordained minister, and CEO and president of the NAACP from 2014-17, will focus on ways that people of all backgrounds can set aside differences to work toward a common goal. - Alex Gordon
