Recovery in the Community Day

As part of National Recovery Month, Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto will join Familylinks to celebrate the 2nd annual Recovery in the Community Day at its Shadyside facility. Recovery in the Community Day will feature events for children and adults to promote a holistic approach to addiction recovery, with on-site health screenings and information from organizations across Allegheny County, as well as raffles and games. Familylinks is a nonprofit agency that provides integrated family-centered services focused on behavioral, social and developmental health issues. National Recovery Month is observed each September, spearheaded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
