pghess777, I agree with you 75%. However, in my case, it has nothing to do with violence or insurance.
Donald Saxton, made these contradicting statements: Saunders had scheduled the event with "a party who did not have authority," says Saxton. Saddle Ridge decided to cancel boxing events after a fight broke out among audience members at an earlier bout, Saxton says. In any case, he says, "This is a country bar. People don't go down to Saddle Ridge to see boxing."///
Now how does SR cancel something or how does a fight brake out between audience members at something THAT YOU DON'T HAVE?!?! His ending statement was: "This is a country bar. People don't go down to Saddle Ridge to see boxing." Also, I find that statement very interesting since that is the same statement told to me in the phone conversation with SR's entertainment director, even though I'VE BEEN TO BOXING EVENTS HELD THERE IN THE PAST!
Then to top it off, they scheduled another boxing show AFTER they canceled my event.
But just so THE PEOPLE know: I don't care one way or another. That is their property. I believe that if you own it you can dictate to whomever you want, who uses it and who doesn't! What I do care about is the money that I lost, ie: revenue, plane tickets, additional advertisements, etc. If you don't want my presence or my money in your facility, MORE POWER TOO YOU! That's NOT A PROBLEM! I'll go elsewhere or GET MY OWN!
