PPG PAINTS™ celebrates 2017 Color of the Year with local art displays

When: Tue., Sept. 6, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. 2016

In celebration of the PPG PAINTS™ 2017 Color of the Year, Violet Verbena, the brand will be creating pop-up 3-D chalk art displays inspired by Violet Verbena in Market Square. The Market Square display is the first in a series of four works of art around Pittsburgh. The works of art will be created by local artist Ben Patterson, and Pittsburgh residents are invited to watch the 3-D creations seemingly emerge from the ground before their eyes. Photo opportunities will be available throughout the day, and PPG Paints store coupons will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.
