Plantae from the East End

When: Fri., March 2, 6-10 p.m. 2018

The urban jungle is full of natural life, some of which gets a showcase in Plantae from the East End, at Assemble tonight. Felipe Delfino’s detailed illustrations of plants were drawn from specimens of native, non-native and yard plants collected on field trips in Garfield, Friendship, Bloomfield, East Liberty and Highland Park. Visitors are invited to share their own stories of these plants we share our space with. The exhibit is part of the monthly Unblurred program, which offers a variety of art, activities and entertainment along Friendship/Bloomfield/Garfield Penn Avenue corridor. -Al Hoff
