Pitt Plays Spring Game, Local Paper Gives Not One Crap
Looking for information about the Pitt spring football game, which was played early Saturday afternoon? Better head over to their Scout.com site, because you can't find any trace of the game on the Web site of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as of 11:00 p.m. Not on their front page, their sports page (the Pirates' manager has gout in his elbow!), not even on their dedicated Pitt page. Not even a trace of it -- a photo, a score. Nothin'.
Not such a surprise, I suppose. Considering the presence of the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, Riverhounds, Xplosion, Pitt's basketball team, and the Steel City Derby Demons, there aren't a lot of fans left for poor Dave Wannstedt.
