Radiate at Up There (upstairs at There Ultra Lounge). 9 p.m.-12 a.m. 931 Liberty Ave., Downtown. $5. 18 and up. facebook.com/931upthere – Head to Radiate, a new monthly dance party hosted by Up There. Presented by Lazlo Productions, the event invites GLBTQIA partiers (ages 18 and up) to meet new people on the dance floor. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.

ICON: Kim Petras hosted by Bambi at Element. 10 p.m. 5744 Ellsworth Ave., Shadyside. Free. elementpgh.com – Local drag artist Bambi hosts a night honoring pop star and transgender advocate Kim Petras at Element. Dance to the sound of modern-day divas, including Petras, Charli XCX, Lizzo, and more. At midnight, enjoy a drag show starring Bambi, Sequoia, Helen Back, and Phoenix Fatale.


The Mayday Get Down at Unblurred. 8 p.m.-1 a.m. 5120 Penn Ave., Garfield. Free. pennavenue.org/unblurred - Stop by the Mayday Get Down during the monthly Garfield gallery crawl Unblurred. The event includes DJs spinning funk and hip-hop, a dance floor, and live music by the Mayday Brass Band. There are also empanadas, drinks, and cheap desserts. The event is described as serving to uplift and celebrate immigrants and workers, and join people in solidarity “against the white supremacist forces that dehumanize and pin us against each other.” It will also raise funds to create more protest art for Mayday.

Sat., April 6

Sensory Friendly Silent Disco at The Warhol. 6–10 p.m. 117 Sandusky St., North Side. $8-12. warhol.org The Warhol presents a special silent disco experience designed for those with autism spectrum disorders and sensory sensitivities. Slip on some wireless headphones and groove to music by DJ Naeem, who also takes requests. Co-presented with The Pittsburgh Center for Autistic Self-Advocacy and Autism Connection of Pennsylvania, Sensory Friendly Silent Disco is open to teens and families from 6–8 p.m. and is 21 and over after 8 p.m.

'90s Nite for Penn Plaza Support and Action at Belvederes Ultra-Dive. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. 4016 Butler St., Lawrenceville. $5 before 11 p.m./$7 after. belvederesultradive.com - Belvedere's Ultra-Dive used its monthly 90s Nite to focus on local housing justice. DJ Thermos and Sean MC play a selection of hip-hop, pop, R&B, grunge, and other hits from the 1990s. Half of the door proceeds from the night will go towards Penn Plaza Support and Action, a coalition of residents, organizations, and volunteers mobilizing to provide support for displaced Penn Plaza residents and to take action for housing justice across Pittsburgh.

Longturn Presents: Joeski at Brillobox. 10 p.m.-2 a.m. 4104 Penn Ave, Bloomfield. $15 online/$20 at door. brilloboxpgh.com - Longturn Music presents a night with international touring DJ, Joeski. Joeski has made a name for himself in the house music scene, starting in 1991 as a founding member of The Chocolate Factory DJ collective in New York City. Experience a sound honed by over two decades in the industry when he performs live at Brillobox.
