Pittsburgh Cello Fest is a day-long community event for cellists, cello enthusiasts, and music lovers of all ages. Activities include masterclasses presented by members of the Pittsburgh Symphony, workshops on classical and alternative styles, featured cello ensemble and chamber music performances, a Suzuki Play-In for young cellists, and concludes with a Cello Choir performance for all participants. The event is free and open to the public. Register online to attend. The Fest will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Music, Alumni Concert Hall in the Fine Arts building.
