Pittsburgh Cello Fest

Pittsburgh Cello Fest is a day-long community event on May 25 for cellists, cello enthusiasts, and music lovers of all ages. Now in its 3rd year, activities include performances by Cello Fury and the Pittsburgh Cello Quartet, masterclasses with Pittsburgh Symphony principal cellist, Anne Martindale Williams, an improvisation workshop with jazz bassist Paul Thompson, a Cello Choir performance led by conductor Daniel Curtis, and a Suzuki Play-In concert for young cellists. The event is held at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Music.
