Explore the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden for free on September 1st! The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, slated to become one of the largest botanic gardens in the country, is reclaiming land from Pittsburgh's gritty, industrial past and transforming it into an outdoor experience unlike any in the region. Bring your camera, and enjoy one of the last days of summer by exploring miles of wooded hiking trails, relaxing by the Lotus Pond, and wandering through Dogwood Meadow. Our Free Day is made possible by the generosity of the Jack Buncher Foundation.
