In their empty loft, a couple tapes the floor to demarcate two identically sized area: one side is her dance studio and the other is his sculpture workshop. Before long, he begins to use her space for his large sculpture, which she in turn uses for her choreography. This interplay of intimacy, rivalry, and creative expression examines the balance of power and understanding within our relationships. Murat playfully explores two lovers' artistic identities as well as their identity as a couple. “Pendular” is part of Carnegie Mellon University’s International Film Festival.
