Every Monday, CP staff writer Jordan Snowden wraps up the weekend in local and national music news with #MusicMonday. Here's what went down in the past few days.

Two events are flooding social media timelines in Pittsburgh: The Grammys and Pittsburgh Very Own show at Mr. Smalls Theatre.

At the Grammy awards, country music duo Dan + Shay, which features Pittsburgh native Dan Smyers, took home their first ever Grammy.

Along with the win, the "Tequila" singers put on a performance of the Grammy-winning song that blew the audience away.

Mac Miller fans were outraged after Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy beat out Miller's final studio release, Swimming, for Best Rap Album. This was the first time Miller had ever been nominated for a Grammy. Back stage after the awards, Cardi B dedicated her win to the late Miller

Another Pittsburgh loss, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra was nominated for best orchestral performance and best-engineered album, but failed to win in either category.

On a positive Pittsburgh note, Saturday night local music lovers packed Mr. Smalls Theatre in support of Clara Kent, Benji., Mars Jackson, and Isaiah Small for the Pittsburgh's Very Own concert.

Vinyl listeners should also get ready to stock up. Juke Records, which has been around since 2016, is closing its doors for good this summer.

And finally, Pittsburgh music blog account, Hugh Shows, is looking to start a discussion about the state of the music scene in Pittsburgh and is asking for feedback, ideas and more.

That's all for today. Check back next week for another edition of #MusicMonday. Here's a fun Grammy parody to get you through the rest of your week.
