Momentum Gala

In McKees Rocks and Stowe Township (Sto-Rox), 100 percent of students qualify for free lunch; 80.3 percent of McKees Rocks households with children are single parents. Since 1969, Focus On Renewal (FOR), a group of mobilized citizens and community activists, has worked to help enhance their community stricken with lacking social services. To celebrate 49 years of improvement and change, FOR puts on Momentum Gala at the Ryan Arts Center. There's food, music, and the honoring of Marlene Banks, for her lifetime of service in the area.
