Mental Health First Aid

A public education program that helps the public identify, understand & respond to signs of mental illnesses & substance use disorders. This 8 hour course introduces participants to risk factors & warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact & overviews common treatments. The target audience for this session is veterans, families of veterans, those who work w/ veterans.
