I wasn't duped by anyone... I wanted the case to go to trial so I could finally get to see and hear all the evidence with my own eyes and ears. Then see and hear the defense testimony with my own eyes and ears. There have always been parts of this case that just did NOT add up for me - on both "sides" of the matter. And yes, there were way MORE parts that did not add up for me on the side of the prosecution, my "bias" has always been clear.
I am somewhat disappointed that we will never have that opportunity. This matter shall remain unresolved in my mind forever now. It may have still remained unresolved after a full trial by jury, but Lin made her decision and did what she felt was right for her.
What I am mostly thankful for ist that it's finally over for the cats. I am hoping and praying that PSPCA does the right thing and makes a sincere effort to place every one of them into loving homes, or other appropriate living situations (in the case of ferals, if there are any still alive).
My opinions with respect to the Tiger Ranch case have evolved over time. At the beginning, I was 90% Thank heaven they saved those cats and 10% But did PSPCA really have to go THAT far overboard?
Then for quite a long time, my position was 60% leaning toward I think TR was probably a good thing, but I just wasn't sure what was really going on.
After many months of researching and discussing the TR situation and the backstory at PSPCA - with a number of people whose opinions I value highly, I am now in a position where I lean 80% toward unequivocal support of Tiger Ranch, but most importantly, I am now 100% sure that PSPCA handled the situation in an entirely inappropriate manner.
I have not, and will never, state anything other than my true opinion. I dont have time for manipulation and games.
If, after the trial, it turns out I was wrong about TR, I will stand up and admit my failure in judgment with respect to that, but I will never stop fighting to ensure that the rights of all animals - and their caretakers - are protected under the law in PA.
I seriously have to wonder about the psychological stability of the small collection of individuals who are so intent on Complete Annihilation of Tiger Ranch.
Do you people not have lives?
Do you not understand that this woman was providing a refuge and respite for cats that were utterly unwanted and discarded by society?
Cats get sick. Veterinary science has yet to evolve to the point where all illnesses can be cured.
Ask Dr. Murarka about the 100+ cats that PSPCA "had" to euthanize after they kidnapped those poor creatures from their home at Tiger Ranch.
Therein lies the rub.
PSPCA couldn't save those cats. Why? Either because they didn't care enough to try... or because there WAS NO CURE for their conditions.
Now, what makes it all right for PSPCA to kill cats that are "uncurable"... but wrong for Lin Marie to try to treat them and allow them to live out their natural lives?
If and when it can be proven in a court of law that Lin Marie was purposely and willfully harming the cats in her care, I'll jump on your bandwagon.

Reporters write stories to sell papers, therefore anything in MSM must be viewed through that filter.
Question everything.
That's all I want. The truth, no matter which way it shakes out.
Look long and hard inside yourselves.
Can you make the same claim?
Fail, and fail, and fail again.
