The obit of the day is Stan Brock. Not only was he on “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” in the 1960s, but he founded the Remote Area Medical clinic service, or RAM, which estimates that it has provided medical, vision, and dental care to more than 700,000 uninsured Americans, and poor people in underdeveloped countries.
