Lynn is starting off the show today talking about Trump’s executive order from last night. The fact that this doesn’t change enough. Now family units will be used instead of separating children from parents. This is a result of a leader who is incapable of thoughtfulness.
She is also having second thought on the donations for Holy Family Institute we talked about yesterday. The government is already paying them to care for these children.
There are little signs that give Lynn some hope. Yesterday’s rally in Squirrel Hill was hugely attended, despite the storm and flash flooding. A sheriff in El Paso Texas told Homeland Security he would not allow his deputies to work at tent city because it was against the principles of the office. Many of the major airlines informed the government they weren't going to transport the children separated from their families, and Microsoft employees asked the company to pull their contracts with ICE.
