Let’s READ English: An ESL Book Discussion Group

When: Fri., Aug. 11, 2-3 p.m. 2017

If English is not your native language and you like to read, join us on the second Friday of every month at 2PM in the Graphic Novels Room. We will read one book each month and then meet to discuss the story, improve our vocabulary and practice our English reading and conversational skills. And have FUN! August’s book selection, Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes is the touching story of Charley, a mentally challenged patient who is given a second chance at life when he becomes a human test subject for a new procedure to enhance intelligence.
