It would be brilliant if, in the details revealed after negotiations are complete, the Heinz plan included a shuttle between the History Center and the Fort Pitt Museum.
Think about it, the number one complaint people have about the point is accessibility. Sure individuals can take PAT to the point very easily, but marshaling groups around (especially groups with children) can be daunting on transit.
The Strip has no shortage of huge parking lots, including areas that are easy for a school bus or similar vehicle to get in and out of (there's virtually no such parking near the point). Imagine if the History Center were to offer a "combo pass" admission to both facilities that included shuttle rides to and from the point?
I think shuttle availability would seize an opportunity to vastly increase attendance at the Fort Pitt Museum, and make the most of this transfer of power.
