Chris Potter needs to do research of the current Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire and try to educate himself about what it takes to become a firefighter and what costs are involved for the Bureau to maintain a professional firefighting force. I don't know of any city residents who are longing for a return to the duty of a bucket brigade and if Potter wasn't such a lazy slug himself he would have found information that shows how un-effective buckets of water were in fighting a fire: most the city burned down in 1845. (this will be shocking news to Mr. Potter I'm sure) So instead of writing wrong and inflammatory pieces that show your ignorance of actual facts, work a little harder and become a real journalist.
