My fiance always hated his art, then after watching "Factory Girl", he hated the man himself..(even though Guy Pearce did a wonderful job!). I have always looked at things different, yes, he basically copied objects he saw and turned them into something different. He made a soup can, ART. He made Marilyn Monroe's face different colors and that HUGE visual mezmerizes the onlooker. I don't know, I am a fan of those who are realists, but pop art holds a place in my art, b/c it takes the mundane and makes it obvious, vibrant, and BRILLIANT!!!
