Jazz n' Samba

When: Fri., Dec. 28, 8-10 p.m.

Put a little "southern hemisphere" sizzle into one of the longest, darkest nights of the year. Celebrate the season with a sophisticated but relaxed evening of Brazilian jazz and American standards by Pittsburgh Ladies of Jazz Etta Cox and Kenia, accompanied by their fabulous quartet. Hear songs by Brazilian composers including Antônio Carlos Jobim (Girl from Ipanema, Waters of March) and selections from Gershwin and the Great American Songbook. The concert will be followed by a reception in the studio with the performers and complimentary dessert and prosecco.
