peel the top layer, curled bit
by curled bit. Take chunks
from the whole circular. Taste
flesh swollen against my tongue,
juices draining the light color
off my wet lips. Taste small
pieces of you, lit against the back
of my throat. Every thick slice slides
through my mouth, leaving sweet
moisture and your heated breathing.
