a shared evening featuring new works by multidisciplinary performance duo slowdanger and embodied improvisationalist, Gia T Cacalano. slowdanger's duet, TETHER, describes relationship, accommodation, and adaptation as the two artists navigate space with their hair tied to the other. Gia T. will present a solo of acquiring and discarding both physical and metaphorical material. The three artists will join together for a trio built within improvisational movement and sound frameworks that explore the winding and unraveling of the mind and the body through repetitive gesture, assembling and disassembling of bodies and shared physical/energetic state.
