Gang of Four | Mr. Smalls Theatre | Punk | Pittsburgh City Paper

This is a past event.

Gang of Four

In its heyday, post-punk group Gang of Four knew how to cause a stir. The band walked off the set of a TV show because the producers wanted them to change the word “rubbers” to “rubbish.” The song “I Love A Man in a Uniform” drew controversy for criticizing men who joined the military only to look good to women. Though Andy Gill is the only remaining member of the original lineup, the band still knows how to bring the noise, which it will do at Mr. Smalls Theatre.
