As part of its Environmental Film Series, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden will host a showing of Field Biologist, directed by Jared Flesher. The film follows 22-year-old Tyler Christensen on his quest to save the endangered mangrove hummingbird, and raises some challenging questions: What does it mean to be a scientist? What should you do with your life? A post-screening discussion will encourage viewers to ponder the film’s toughest questions about climate change, habitat destruction and conservation.
