    Re: “Moll Flanders
Mr. Isenberg makes it clear that playwright Sean Michael O'Donnell's adaptation of Moll Flanders is "so dire that the two hours drag endlessly." But what he fails to report is why. Not one actor's performance is commented upon. Sure, the story line is explained, but I was hoping to read something about the actual performances of these community theatre actors. Mr. Isenberg provides a colorful description of the location of the production, but when reading a review of a play, I'm less interested in reading about hardwood floors and more interested in reading about what the actors did or did not do to bring life to the characters. Perhaps next time, Mr. Isenberg will spare the reader talk of the drop-ceilings in the New Olde Bank Theatre and instead review the performances of the actors and the play itself.
