Edna Vazquez

Mexico native Edna Vazquez is a fearless singer, songwriter and guitarist whose powerful voice and original material seamlessly paint an intersection of folk, rock, pop and R&B. Vazquez first forged her own brilliant musical path to become one of the first female mariachi vocalists and vihuela players in the States. Now touring her recent release, "Sola Soy," with her band, Vazquez visits Pittsburgh for a Dia De Los Muertos celebration presented by Mooka Entertainment with a pre-concert networking reception with Mexican hors d'oeuvres and a presentation on painter Frida Kahlo hosted by The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
