    Re: “City Theatre
This is one of the best plays that I have attended in the last 10 years. The story is thoughtful and develops each of its five characters fully. The characters include a sister and brother who are from India, two young black men and an older black man. By the way, the Indian brother is a transsexual. (This not a spoiler; the brother makes it clear early on what he wants to become) By the end of the play you find yourself attached and caring for each one of characters. The play is a little over 2 hours long and just moves. There are no quirky gimmicks or big props to beg for your attention. The story caries you along as it efficiently moves from scene to scene. The characters build relationships as the story unfolds. The play is hysterically funny and warm at the same time. There are only two weekends left for this world premiere. If you miss it, you’ll probably have an opportunity to see it elsewhere in the future because this is going to be a hit. I wouldn’t wait though because it won’t be done as well as The City Theatre production and it will probably cost you a lot more money.
