Oh come on.... My husband works for the Pittsburgh Public Schools and sorry to tell the truth but here it is..... You can get the required 2.5 GPA just by showing up with a pencil to class everyday behave and do the class work ! My daughter was a great student and received the 40.000 in promise money because she went to school everyday didn't cut up in class and got good grades.. alert that means she worked for it.. Now my son is different story he went to school everyday but he was the class clown didn't do the work to earn the grades his last GPA was a 0.166 and I'll be DAMNED if the young man in the story above or any other students get the promise without earning the required attendance and grades because of RACE. I Will have my Lawyers in court fighting that and for my son to get the same. ALERT YOU ARE NIT ENTITLED TO NOTHING IF YOU WANT SOMETHING YOY HAVE TO WORK FOR IT.
