Dee's has become THE bar for me and most of my friends. We've tried most every bar on the Southside but Dee's was the only one that stood above the rest. It's one of the few that doesn't require squeezing past throngs of horny preps while the latest shitty rap song blares so loudly you have to yell in the ear of the person next to you. Why is that desirable? Possibly because all most people want from a bar is to find someone hot to shag, and apparently the less talking the better.
Give me a dollar Pabst, some (moderately volumed) punk or classic rock on the Jukebox and a night of actually talking to my friends over Rumshakers and Jimmy's anyday.
