Thanks Chris for excellent reporting this very important story. To Sgt. Maseth's family, I am so sorry for his death. Mr. Utt and Mr. DeNicola should have such shoddy workmanship in their homes. I wonder if the problems would get fixed then?
It is outrageous that this poor family has to deal with this dangerous situation and be punished for it!! Don't people teach their children even a modicum of respect? Plus what is Pitt doing about underage/dangerous drinking? You know that half that party had to be underage. What are the police doing? They could make a heck of a lot of money for the city if they went to these parties and cited the kids who were underage and fined them or their parents! Pitt and the city of Pittsburgh better wake up before this type of drinking leads to something even worse than what this poor family had to and is still enduring.
