"Sup, assholes?"

That's the greeting rapper Tyler, The Creator gave the crowd at Stage AE last night. After a delayed start, Tyler, clad in a snapback hat, tiger-striped golf shirt and shorts, came out during the set of DJ Taco, the opener and member of Tyler's rap group/collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, and took control of the show and the crowd for the rest of the night.

Also joined by Odd Future member Jasper Dolphin, the three gave the younger crowd an hour-and-10-minute set, which drew heavily from Tyler's 2013 album Wolf. He also worked in "Yonkers" and "Tron Cat," songs from his debut album Goblin and Odd Future songs "Sam (Is Dead)" "Oldie" and "Rella." After "Rella," the 11th song of the 18 song set, he asked if he could bring out a guest. Mac Miller came running out on stage and they performed "O.K.," Miller's song that Tyler is featured on. Miller had tweeted earlier Wednesday encouraging fans to go to the show, foreshadowing his appearance.

Tyler's banter with fans made up for the short show (DJ Taco went on at 8:45 p.m. and the show was over by 10:10 p.m.). He was appreciative of the turnout "I did not think this many people fuck with me in Pittsburgh. I'm humble y'all," he said. Some answered with throwing bras and underwear on stage, which was somewhat unwelcome. "This shit is wet. I don't wanna slip. Stop throwing bras up here," Tyler said. He made fun of the crowd, jokingly, telling them "fuck you" and that he hated them, and after "Colossus," telling them "You knew that word for word; that's fucking weird, man."

He sold water to the crowd for a dollar piece, saying "It's America, nothing is free." That was followed by a "USA!" chant form the crowd.

"Nigga, I know where we are," he answered.
