Most City of Pittsburgh swimming pools are closed for summer, but six of them will remain open through Labor Day.
If you’re looking to get in your final dip of the season, your choices are: Highland Park; Jack Stack (in Brighton Heights); Moore (Brookline); Ream (Mount Washington); Schenley Park; and Sue Murray (North Side).
The pools will be open 1-7:45 Mondays through Fridays, and 1-5:45 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day itself, Mon., Sept. 3.
The other dozen pools closed early this year due to reduced staffing, according to an Aug. 19 Citiparks release.
