Film and discussion “Blood on the Mountain” This film highlights the economic and environmental devastation caused by the coal mining industry in West Virginia and its crippling effect on all American workers. Introduction and discussion will be led by Shaun Slifer, Curator/Exhibition Designer, West Virginia Mine Wars Museum, and Lou Martin, a founding and current Board Member and Associate Professor of History at Chatham University who will present a wider understanding of the post-Mine Wars’ 20th century contextual history.
