The 2nd annual Pittsburgh Whiskey and Fine Spirits Festival held on November 14, 2008 from 6:00 P.M.- 9:00 P.M. in the East Club Lounge at Heinz Field. The festival will once again showcase an impressive array of premium whiskeys, but will also offer more than 100 brands of fine vodkas, gins, rums, tequilas, and cognacs from countries around the globe. For the FIRST TIME cocktails will be available-- everything from Manhattans to Martinis. Food stations are available throughout the East Lounge, with culinary professionals pairing treats with fine spirits. Food and Fine spirits are not the only attractions offered at the festival, a variety of events and activities are held throughout the evening such as: - Cocktail Competition- Pittsburgh's elite bartenders compete for the Festival's cocktail of the year. -Silent Auction- A variety of gifts and packages donated by various Pittsburgh businesses. -Sports & Entertainment Lounges- Grand Prix racing, Guitar Hero, & golfing at the 19th Hole Clubhouse Lounge, and more. -Vodka Rocks Lounge- Cosmopolitans are always more enjoyed while viewing hot diamond creations! Pittsburgh's finest jewelery retail stores are showcasing their gems. Luxury Cars- Hot cars and fine automobiles are displayed for you to view and schedule a test drive. On-Site Store- Take home a bottle of your new favorite spirit, many not available anywhere else in Pennsylvania, from the PLCB's on-site store. Proceeds go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Tickets in advanced are $85 (purchased online or phone) or at the door for $95.
