From 3-6 p.m., there is free admission to the Citiparks pool in Highland Park. The family-friendly, all-ages event celebrates the public artwork by Eliza Miller, a cut-out-style steel sculpture from 1981
on one of the site's buildings that depicts swimmers jumping and diving.
Along with pool access, the event also features music by a DJ, snacks, outdoor games and art activities.
If you’re going, the Office of Public Art requests that you register here
, though registration is not required.
For more information, see the event Facebook page
. Questions can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Highland Park Pool is located at 13 Lake Drive, in the park called Highland Park.
