Jeffrey Condran
Jeffrey Condran and Aubrey Hirsch have both accepted teaching posts out of state. Before they split, later this summer, you can find them both tomorrow night at the East End Book Exchange.
Condran, who’ll be an assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has been especially high-profile here, not least as co-founder and publisher of indie press
Braddock Avenue Books. He’s also author of the story collection
A Fingerprint Repeated and the debut novel,
Prague Summer, which received a 2015 Independent Publisher Book Award.
Hirsch, an assistant professor at Georgia College, is author of the 2013 story collection
Why We Never Talk About Sugar and the flash-fiction chapbook
This Will Be His Legacy.
Their free joint reading is 7-9 pm. Sat., July 25.
East End Book Exchange is located at 4754 Liberty Ave., in Bloomfield.
