Here in Pittsburgh, we have certain seasonal harbingers: It wouldn't be Christmas without a visit from the weird Christmas-metal band Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and it wouldn't be Valentine's Day without Monster Jam. Likewise, summer in Pittsburgh wouldn't be complete without a visit from the
Dave Matthews Band, and the group announced its summer itinerary today, including a June 6 date at
First Niagara Pavilion. Tickets go on sale Fri., Feb. 13, and those interested are directed toward
the band's website. In the past, we grew accustomed to two-night stands from DMB; this year, the band is playing two sets per night, but is only scheduled for one night here in Pittsburgh. (At least for now — it's notable that there's a two-day gap in the band's schedule after the Pittsburgh date, so things could always change.)
