Fiction writer Lan Samantha Chang — who also directs the renowned University of Iowa Writers Workshop — will read from her work at Chatham University.
She has also published two novels, 2004’s Inheritance and 2010’s All Is Forgotten, Nothing is Lost. And since 2006, she has been director of the University of Iowa Writers Workshop.
The reading is at 8 p.m. in the Welker Room of the James Laughlin Music Hall, on Chatham’s Shadyside campus.
The event, , part of Chatham’s Melanie Brown Lecturer Series, is sponsored by the school’s graduate creative-writing program.
