Water or Glass

Following its sold-out premiere in Virginia, Water or Glass comes to The Oaks Theater December 11th for one performance. Water or Glass is a multi-media play about Charlotte Salomon, a bold Expressionist painter known for her autobiographical collection of paintings called Life? or Theater? which she created in exile during WWII. Salomon depicts her childhood as remembered but also delves into the perceived inner thoughts of those around her. Water or Glass brings the generational weave of Charlotte’s life and art to the stage using three generations of actors, Bridget Mitchell, her mother and daughter. Tickets available at the door.
