A handful of upscale lounges have sprung up along Carson. Like them, S-Bar offers VIP bottle service, a scaled-down dance floor and upscale drinks. Space here can be cramped, the result of 19th-century constricted floor plans. But you have to repect the effort to infuse a historic business district with the latest bar trends... especially when it's not too crowded.
